about

A focused directory for one of gaming's fastest-growing genres.

BulletHeavenGames is an independent directory and recommender for the bullet heaven genre — the wave of games sparked by Vampire Survivors, where you steer a single character through thickening hordes of enemies while your weapons fire automatically and you pour run after run into upgrades. The genre goes by many names (survivors-like, auto-shooter, horde survival, reverse bullet hell), which makes these games surprisingly hard to find on the big storefronts. This site exists to fix that: one place that tracks the whole genre, from the household names to the hidden gems released last week.

We currently catalog 917+ games. Each entry collects the details that actually matter when you're deciding what to play next — price, current Steam review sentiment, platforms, controller and co-op support, rough run length, and the tags that describe how it plays — alongside a short, plain-English take on what makes the game worth your time. You can browse the full catalog, filter by platform, sort by release date, keep a personal collection, and dig into what's coming next.

How the directory stays current

The genre moves fast — dozens of new titles ship every month. To keep up, the catalog is maintained by a nightly process that watches Steam for new releases in the genre and refreshes pricing and review data on the games already listed. Every game is still reviewed for genre fit before it appears, and anything that drifts in by mistake is removed by hand. The goal is a list that's both comprehensive and actually about bullet heavens — not a dumping ground for every game that happens to share a tag.

Missing a game?

If you know a bullet heaven, survivors-like, or auto-shooter we don't have yet, please suggest it — it only takes a Steam link. Spotted something wrong, out of date, or miscategorized? We'd rather know; see the contact page.
